Alpha Omega Fleet has the job of mainly protecting and defending the area of the Alpha Quadrant. They
are the biggest fleet in the Alpha Quadrant. They also incorperate all species of the quadrant in the fleet. They
are also assigned by the Federation President to explore and to see more areas and gain allies and alliances if they can.
Becuase of the overwhelming respncibilites of this usually Flag Officers (Commodores and higher) are assigned various duties.
Admiral Bell for example is the Fleet Logistical Officer, Flag Field Officer (When in space can assume command of all vessels
in the fleet) and lastly but not least the Commanding Officer of the flag ship USS Nautilus. Comodore Walsh and Fleet
Captain Turner both report to him and are those ranks should Admiral Bell be unable to command the fleet they can step in
with no confustion of who is next in line for command of the fleet.
The Provistional ranks are for different reasons. The first reason is if a human went to starfleet academy
and quit or resgined and joined the marquis and returned to the Federation. They are also for the Frengi, Romulian,
and Carsdiassian races. The reason is that we are taking a chance with these races and seeing how they serve onboard
a Federation starship. They have the same authority as a standerd rank of that paygrade, it is a trail and error period.
They can convert to the standerd ranks once all qualificatios are met.
Also various ranks can promote people to certain ranks
Only the president of the Federation can promote an officer to the rank of full Admiral

Vice-Admiral and Lieutenant Admiral:
Captain and Below
Commodore and Rear Admiral:
LCDR and Below
Captain and Commander:
LT and Below
LCDR:
Enlisted Ranks Only
Lieutenants and below cannot promote on thier own authority
